Issue:

Troubleshooting graphic card issues with Revit.

Solution:

This troubleshooting center helps you to find and troubleshoot common issues related to Revit products and graphic cards.

Basic Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Disable the Hardware Acceleration within Revit.
    1. If this clears the behavior, then this confirms the issue is with the Graphics Card / Graphics Driver.
    2. Start by updating the graphics card (or by loading a certified driver version).
    3. If there is no update available, try uninstalling the current driver, and then reinstall (in case the driver installation is damaged).
  2. If disabling Hardware Acceleration does not clear the issue, check the following:
    • Is the issue specific to a single project?
    • Is the issue specific to a single system (or user account)?
    • Has Revit been updated to the latest build?
