To Work With Vehicle Positioning

The tasks available in the Position Vehicle dialog are explained in the following table.

Task Instructions
Set or change the vehicle location Click Location, then use the mouse to move the vehicle, and click to confirm.
Set or change the vehicle heading Click Heading, then use the mouse to adjust the orientation of the vehicle, and click to confirm.
Set or change the starting steering angle Click Steering, then use the mouse to adjust the angle, and click to confirm.
Set or change the starting orientation of a selected spine Click Articulation. If there is only one articulation point, you will be asked to adjust the trailer spine. If there is more than one articulation point you will be asked to pick the unit that you want to adjust. In either case, move the cursor to reorient the appropriate spine, and click to confirm.
Position the vehicle on an existing path To position the vehicle at the start or end of a path, click either Start Of Path or End Of Path, and then select the path.

To position the vehicle at a specific point along the path, click Point On Path and then click the point on the path.

View path properties Click Properties.
View model settings Click Model.
Undo the last operation Click Undo.
Start driving Click Proceed. The Drive dialog or command line is displayed.
