Issue:

Users reported that when linking a cloud model in Revit, the path displayed in the Manage Links dialog unexpectedly shows an absolute path pointing to the Collaboration Cache folder instead of the BIM 360 folder path.

Status:

This incident has been resolved in:

Revit 2020.2.3
Revit 2021.1.1

To install updates, open the Autodesk desktop app and click My Updates. To install a new version of your Autodesk software, open the Autodesk desktop app, sign in, and click My Products. To use a web browser to install updates or a new version, sign in to Autodesk Account. (Your access to new versions or updates depends on your Autodesk software entitlements.)

Workaround:

Follow these steps to correct the folder path of the linked model:
  1. Go to the Ribbon > Insert > Manage Links to review the file path of the loaded Revit models.
  2. Select the file with the absolute path pointing to the local CollaborationCache folder.
  3. Click on Reload From and browse to the BIM 360 Folder from the External Resource in the dialog.
  4. Click on OK to reload the file - this will correct the file path.

Alternate workaround:
