Symptom or Message: When installing your Autodesk product, the installation fails and the following error message displays:
Error 1305
Error reading from <path>/<file>. Verify the files exist and that you can access it.
Issue: This error typically indicates a failed attempt to read a file during installation.
Solution: To resolve this issue:
- Remove the media from the computer, and remove any debris. If it is a DVD, clean any fingerprints and inspect it for scratches.
- When the media is clean, re-insert it and run the installation again.
- If the error occurs again, copy the contents of the media to a folder on the local hard drive and run setup.exe from that folder.
- If the error continues to occur, contact your dealer or Autodesk Customer Service to request a replacement.
