* - Using Glue Web, models can be reviewed without downloading software.
** - A RVT file can be used directly in Navisworks or an NWC file can be exported.
*** - If multiple RVT files are linked, clash detection and coordination can be done.
BIM 360 Glue
Use BIM 360 Glue when multiple team members work on a project and you need multi-disciplinary clash detection, coordination, and review of models. Models are uploaded and managed in the cloud, providing online and mobile access to the models and review tools anytime for project stakeholders. BIM 360 Glue aligns models and files for a project, enabling review of a coordinated model. From Revit, a model is "glued" (exported to the BIM 360 application as a DWF or NWC file). When team members receive notification that the model is available, they review it using Glue desktop, Glue Web, or the mobile application. Reviewers can add markups to the model using Glue and can notify selected individuals or the entire team about the markups. Based on these markups, team members then modify the model using Revit and, if needed, repeat the process if additional review is required.
Autodesk Design Review
Design Review is a stand-alone application for the review of model and sheets. Export a Revit model to DWF format and share it with reviewers. A reviewer uses Design Review to open the DWF file, review the design, and mark up the model with questions, issues, and suggested changes. You can then import the marked up DWF file back into Revit to review the markups and make corresponding changes to the design. Use Revit parameters to track the status of markups and record notes about them, for example, to indicate when related changes are completed in Revit.
Navisworks
Use Navisworks to coordinate and review a project that involves multiple disciplines and files from different sources. Navisworks can use multiple types of files to create a complete project model. You can use the RVT file directly in Navisworks or export the Revit model to the native NWC file format. Team members can review the project in Navisworks and share information about issues. If Revit is used on the same computer where the Navisworks review is being performed, you can use the Navisworks Switchback feature to open the model in Revit to a view where the issue can be resolved. When all model issues are resolved in Revit, you can iterate the process, reviewing it in Navisworks again to identify additional issues. Navisworks offers additional tools for construction scheduling and quantity takeoffs of the model.
Revit Viewer
To inspect a model in Revit without a Revit software license, you can use the Revit Viewer. In this mode, you cannot save changes to the model nor print views of a model changed using Revit Viewer. However, you print views of the unaltered model. You can also link Revit models from other disciplines for coordination and clash detection. If the model requires changes, you must communicate them to team members outside of Revit, and use a licensed edition of Revit to make the changes.
A360
A360 is an online service where you can store and share models and project-related files. You can upload Revit files directly to A360 without export. Review the Revit model and related files using a web browser or mobile device. When someone comments on a file, the file owner receives notification. When the model is updated using Revit, a new version is uploaded to A360, which tracks file versioning. You can share models with stakeholders outside the project team to get their input. You can also perform a live review of a model where reviewers share the model in real time. However, A360 does not support coordination or clash detection because it ignores linked files when a model is uploaded.
A360 Team
A360 Team offers the same features of A360 but provides additional storage for projects and adds an administration control panel so you can more easily manage team member access to projects.
A360 Viewer
A360 Viewer is an online file viewing application that can be useful to quickly share a model with stakeholders. Drop a Revit model into its browser window to open the model for viewing. Then share a link to the file (where it is stored for 30 days) or start a live session for real-time review of the model.

File Export (DWG, DXF, PDF, etc...)
From Revit, you can export a model to a CAD format or use the Print function with a third-party PDF print driver to create PDF files of the model, and share these files with stakeholders for review. When determining which output format to use, consider the target software that reviewers will use to inspect the model.
