Generative Design

Use Generative Design in Revit to rapidly generate design alternatives based on your goals, constraints, and inputs. Then explore, optimize, and make informed decisions to address design problems.

Note: Direct access to Generative Design in Revit using these ribbon tools is available only to subscribers of the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering, & Construction (AEC) Collection or customers with an enterprise business account. Without either of those, you can access similar functionality using Dynamo for Revit. Generative Design is not available to users of Revit LT.

Share this presentation with your team for a high-level overview of Generative Design in Revit.

Tip: For a case study that uses generative design for a restaurant layout that follows physical distancing guidelines, see Have You Tried: Generative Design.
