Export one or more views and sheets to SAT, the format for ACIS, a solid modeling technology that is supported by many CAD applications.

Note: Solid geometry in a 3D view always exports to SAT as ACIS solids.
  1. Click File tab ExportCAD Formats (ACIS (SAT)).
  2. In the SAT Export Settings dialog, select the views and sheets to export.
If you want to export… Then…
a single view or sheet for Export, select <current view/sheet only>.
multiple views and sheets for Export, select <In session view/sheet set>, and then select the views and sheets to export.
  3. If you are ready to export, click Next.

To save the current export settings and close the dialog without exporting, click Save Set & Close.

  4. In the Export CAD Formats dialog, do the following:
    1. Navigate to the target folder for the exported files.
    2. For Naming, select an option for the automatically generated file name.
