Upgrade Cloud Models

When you transition from an older release of Revit Cloud Worksharing to a new release, you must upgrade the Autodesk Docs or Autodesk Docs project and its Revit models.

Notes:

To upgrade all cloud models in a BIM 360 Document Management or Autodesk Docs project

  1. Sign in to BIM 360 Document Management or Autodesk Docs.
  2. Select the project containing the models you want to upgrade.
  3. In BIM 360, switch to the Project Admin module. In Autodesk Docs, click Settings.
  4. Click the Revit Cloud Model Upgrade tab.

A message displays if there are models eligible for upgrade.

  5. If more than one release is available to upgrade to, select the desired release and click Upgrade.
Note: Click Test Upgrade when you want to receive a detailed report of the changes that will occur during the upgrade process. The Test Upgrade Report shows only Revit cloud models that contain errors or warnings after being upgraded. Test Upgrade does not upgrade the models in the project. If there are no errors or warnings associated with a model, you will receive a message: "Test upgrade complete - Cloud models in this project could be upgraded from Revit 20xx to Revit 20xx."
  6. Read and confirm the upgrade notes and click Upgrade.

Automated e-mail notifications are sent from Autodesk Docs or Autodesk Docs to let you know the status of the upgrade process.
