Sharing Analysis Results with Collaborators

By sharing an analysis, you allow a collaborator to:

The collaborator cannot edit results and cannot download them to the Revit project. If your project on the website has the same name as the project shared with you, on the Projects tab, they display as separate projects, but the project shared with you is marked with the icon. Analyses you shared are marked with the icon.

Note: Collaborators do not need cloud credits to use an analysis shared with them.
On the Projects tab, for better management of your projects, you can use the following filters to display appropriate analyses:

To share an analysis:

  1. On the Projects tab, select a project.
  2. On the project page, select a model.
  3. Locate the row that contains the analysis to share, and click the Sharing icon.
  4. In the Sharing analysis dialog, enter the e-mail address that the collaborator uses to log in to the Autodesk account, and click Add.

    It must be the e-mail address used in credentials of an already existing Autodesk account. The added collaborator displays on the list under Collaborators.

  5. Click to send the collaborator an invitation e-mail containing the link to the selected analysis.
  6. Add another collaborator, or close the Sharing analysis dialog.

    On the project page, after you shared the analysis, the Share icon next to the analysis changes to .

If you added several collaborators to the list, you can click in the Collaborators row to send invitation e-mails to all of them.

To communicate with owners about analyses shared with you:

  1. On the Projects tab, select a project, then select a model and an analysis shared with you.

    The analysis page opens.

  2. Click the owner's name.

    The e-mail addressed to the analysis owner opens. You can edit your message and exchange e-mails with owners.
