Apply a division grid along a surface in a conceptual design.
- Select the surface to be divided. If you are unable to select a surface, enable the Select Elements by Face option.
- Click Modify | Form Element tab

(Divide Surface). - Adjust UV grid spacing, rotation, and grid positioning as needed. Remember that applied patterns have footprint requirements that may affect how many divisions a surface needs in the conceptual design.
