Adjust the deck profile to better conform to as-built documentation requirements.
Video: Applying Structural Deck Profiles
- Select the Composite Deck, and on the Properties palette, click
(Edit Type). - For Structure, click Edit. Note: To preview the appearance of the compound structure as you modify the profile, click Preview.
- Select the Structural Deck layer. The Structural Deck Properties at the bottom of the deck become available.
- Select a profile from the Deck Profile menu.
- If needed, select Standalone Deck from the Deck Usage menu.
- Optionally, select the Structure layer to adjust the concrete material and thickness.
- Click OK twice to close the dialogs.
- To display the layers in a section view, in the Project Browser, click the view name. In the Properties palette, set the value for the Detail Level property to Medium or Fine. Remember, place the section perpendicular to the floor span direction to view the deck profile detail.
