'No setup sheets were written' and 'There are no active setup sheet types' while generating a setup sheet in PowerMill

Issue:

How to set a path for a customized setups sheet in PowerMill. In some instances, an incorrect path can return the following error:
"There are no active setup sheet types."
There are no active Setup Sheet types.
"The following required Setup Sheet template is missing."
No setup Sheet were written.
 

Causes:

The setup Sheet path is not properly set.

Solution:

To set a path for customized setup sheet, do the following:

  1. Right-click on the NC Program.
  2. Select Create NC Program, rename it as Setup sheet.
  3. Right Click on Setup sheet NC program >Setup Sheets > Paths.
  4. Untick all the templates.
  5. Tick the Project summary to be output.
  6. Click on browse Browse button.
  7. Navigate to the location where customized setup sheet template (.HTML) is saved.
  8. Select it, click Open and then Close.Setup Sheet Path setting window
