Adjust the direction in which generated volume supports are projected
Volume supports are always projected vertically. This may not always be desired. For instance, the projected support may hit sections of the same or of another part which is not wanted. Or, maybe that is explicitly wanted, but it currently doesn't. For those cases, a knee-like angle may be added to such structure to make it deflect as needed.
- Within the support module, select an existing volume support.
- In the Edit tab, switch Angled Block Support to Yes.
- By dragging the arrows of the control element, move and angle the created kink to suit your part arrangement and orientation.
Tip: Drag to highlight multiple support entities before activating this option through their context menu. This allows to set the angle to multiple entities simultaneously, and with the same values.
