Running a Clean Registry in Moldflow Products

Issue:

Having issues with directory access, results access, as well as general usability concerns in Moldlfow

  • A quick fix without having to go through the entire reinstallation process.
  • A clean registry of Moldflow personal preferences can do this,
  • Clears the registry and re-configuring the installation to default settings and removing any configurations that may be causing those issues.

Solution:

To perform a clean registry in Moldflow run the following executables depending on the Moldflow program in use:

Note: These applications are located in the the installation directory for each program and is run as an executable.  

Moldflow Synergy

  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 20XX\bin\synergycleanreg.exe

Moldflow Insight

  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Insight 20XX\bin\insightcleanreg.exe

Moldflow Adviser

  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Adviser 20XX\bin\advcleanreg.exe
