To enhance security, macOS Catalina (10.15) implements stricter application signing. Catalina also no longer supports older 32-bit applications. Previous versions of Maya, created before the introduction of this signing process, are not notarized and contain some 32-bit applications such as FCheck.
To run a previous version of Maya on macOS Catalina, you can Ctrl-click the application icon and select Open.
FCheck will not run on macOS Catalina, but you can select a different default image viewer in the Applications preferences (Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences).
