Identify objects to which a material is assigned

To identify objects that has been assigned a specific material, do as follows:

• In the Hypershade, right-click the material swatch and select Select Objects with Material.

• In the Outliner, enable Display > Assigned Materials to display shaders assigned to each object in the scene, then right-click the material and select Select Objects with Material. You can also choose to Frame Objects with Material.

  This allows you to identify all other objects that are assigned to the same shader.
