Fixed Issues in 2020.1

Summary of Known Issues in 2020.1

  • Known issues reported in R2020 are still known issues in 2020.1.
  • A dimension to a face or an edge on an assembly feature cannot be maintained. When you re-enter the Tolerance Analysis environment the dimension is zero. (INVGEN-30403)
  • The Tolerance Analysis button does not appear if weldment assemblies are the only open documents in the session. To work around this, create a new part or assembly and then return to the weldment assembly. (INVGEN-31072)
Note: This issue and workaround also applies to 2020.

Fixed Issues in 2020

Summary of Known Issues in 2020

  • The default Inventor context menu isn't available in the Inventor Tolerance Analysis environment.
  • Keyboard input for the mini-toolbar isn't supported.
  • When you select a curve to define a direction, the direction is interpreted as the Z axis. Selecting a different direction has no effect. No message displays to indicate the issue.
  • Stackup analysis data may become unusable if you:
    1. Create a stackup in an assembly.
    2. Exit the Tolerance Analysis environment and continue to work on the assembly.
    3. Delete a component or feature that was used in the stackup.
    4. Re-enter the Tolerance Analysis environment.
  • Entering the Tolerance Analysis environment causes the document to require a save. (INVGEN-23957)
  • A stackup dimension isn't draggable during in-place edit of a component. (INVGEN-24742)
  • Graphical dimensions created by Tolerance Analysis may remain visible if you Undo the operation of exiting the Tolerance Analysis environment. A known workaround is to close and then re-open the document. (INVGEN-24724)
