To Add or Edit Soldering Symbols (GOST Standard)

Add the soldering symbol to identify the type of solder to use at a specific location on the drawing. Annotations appear above and below the reference line and the leader points to the solder location.

Add soldering symbols in GOST drawings

  1. On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabSymbols panelSoldering Symbol .
  2. In the graphic window, click the location on the drawing where you want to add the soldering symbol. The location you select changes color.
  3. Move the cursor to a different location. A leader line extends from the target to the cursor.
  4. Click to set a point.
  5. In the Soldering Symbol dialog box, add the desired solder information.
  6. Expand the dialog box to add more information.
  7. In the Symbol section, select one or more symbols to add to the soldering symbol.
  8. Add the solder requirements to the Requirement section.
  9. Click OK to add the symbol and annotation to the drawing.

Edit or delete soldering symbols

  1. To edit a symbol, double-click the symbol to launch the dialog box, or by right-click to display a context menu and select the edit option.
  2. To delete a symbol, click the symbol to highlight it, and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
