Add-In Manager dialog box

Controls which Autodesk Inventor add-ins are installed on the system. You can load or unload any add-in in the list.

Access

Ribbon: Tools tab Options panel Add-Ins

 

Start menu: Programs Autodesk Autodesk Inventor [version] Tools Add-In Manager.

Available Add-Ins and Load Behavior

Lists the installed add-ins with their load behavior. Add-ins that are not loaded at startup are listed without a load behavior.

Note: To increase computer performance, cancel the Load at Startup option for each of the add-ins, and unload each of the add-ins.

Description

Describes the add-in selected in the list.

Load Behavior

Loaded/Unloaded

Switches the selected add-in between Loaded and Unloaded. The load behavior list updates to reflect the selected load behavior.

Double-click the name in the list to switch between Loaded and Unloaded.

Note: You cannot unload Autodesk Inventor Professional Add-ins in-session. You can load/unload only on Startup.
Load Automatically

Switches on the environment and associated add-ins when a document of that type loads.

Environments load in this order: Parts, Assemblies, Presentations, Drawings. For instance, if you load a:

Part document - the part environment and any add-ins associated with it load. Other environments do not load.

Assembly document - the part and assembly environments load, along with any add-ins.

Drawing document - All of the environments and associated add-ins load.

Note: Changes to the status of an add-in take effect only when you click OK.
