How to display a sketch in a Fusion Drawing

Issue:

  • How to make a sketch visible in a Fusion Drawing.

Solution:

Turn on sketch visibility in drawing

  1. Expand the browser tree in the drawing environment.
  2. Locate the sketch in the subfolders.
  3. Click the eye* next to the Sketches folder containing the sketch to change visibility of the folder.
  4. Click the eye* next to the sketch to change visibility of the sketch.
    1. To display only sketch lines, click the eye* next to any bodies or components to change visibility. 
*Alternatively, right-click the folder/sketch and select Show/Hide.

Sketch lines default to a dashed/phantom line type. This line type can be changed in the document setting of the drawing workspace. See: How to change dotted line type to continuous type for the sketch in Autodesk Fusion Drawings 

Note: The sketch may not appear if the drawing base view is not parallel to the sketch plane.
