Although Fusion 360 can no longer be purchased, downloaded, or updated from the macOS App Store, Autodesk remains committed to delivering the best Fusion 360 experience to Mac users. Only the source of your Fusion 360 downloads has changed, not the product itself. This change ensures the best experience for your use of Fusion 360, including performance improvements and faster updates.

For commercial users with a monthly subscription:

Subscribe to Fusion 360 at the Fusion 360 subscription website.
 

For commercial users with an annual subscription:

Your contract will still be valid. After downloading Fusion 360 using the instructions below, simply sign in and continue working with Fusion 360 until your contract expires. When you wish to renew, visit the Fusion 360 subscription website.
 

For all commercial and non-commercial macOS users:

Use the instructions below to download and install Fusion 360 from your Autodesk account. When you sign in after installation, all of your models will be exactly as you left them. 


Instructions for transitioning to Autodesk account as your source of Fusion 360 installs and updates:
If you downloaded Fusion 360 from the macOS App Store and your subscription term is still active, follow these steps:

  1. Sync your offline data to the cloud.
    1. Open Fusion 360 when you're connected to the Internet.
    2. When syncing is complete, quit Fusion 360.
  2. Uninstall Fusion 360 and remove support files:
    1. In the Finder, select Applications from the Go menu.
    2. In Applications, right-cilck (or control-click) Fusion360 and select Move to Trash.
    3. In the Finder, select Show View Options from the View menu. Be sure Show Library Folder is checked.
    4. In the Finder, select Library from the Go menu.
    5. In the Containers subfolder of the Library folder, right-click (or control-click) the two folders with names beginning with com.autodesk.mas. Copy these folders into a safe local location to back up any local tool libraries or post processors that were being used on the MAS version. If these local CAM Assets are not backed up, they will be permanently deleted by this process.
  3. Install Fusion 360 from your Autodesk account:
    1. Sign in to your Autodesk account.
    2. Under Products & Services, select Fusion 360 and click Download now.

  1. Run the Fusion 360 installation file you've downloaded.
  2. When you sign in to Fusion 360, your previous design data is available.
