Use this menu option to import an Autodesk Inventor Part File (.ipt) containing a solid model into PartMaker.
Selecting this menu option displays the Import Autodesk Inventor Part File dialog for you to select the file you want to import.
When you have imported the solid model into PartMaker, you may want to extract machinable edges and other geometric data from the model or use it for performing surface machining.
