Supported Post Processors List

A 'post processor' file is a file that translates CAMduct machine control commands into a format that can be understood by a particular cutting machine controller. A post processor file has a .VPL file extension.

Creation and modification of post processors require custom development on a per-manufacture/per-equipment configuration basis, requiring close coordination with manufacturer technical documentation, consultation, and customer/user validation. Equipment manufacturers may make changes to their hardware at any time that may require a change to the post processors, so verification should be done ahead of time that CAMduct will work with the specific equipment you intend to use. These VPL files are typically installed to the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication <version>\CAMduct\VPLs folder. A few of the more common ones are also installed to the CAMduct installed folder location. For more information on VPL files, see Before Installing a Machine.

Note that some post processor files can be used across multiple machines, such as the D6 Post, which can be used across a range of Creonic-based controllers, such as:

• TechServ Controllers
