Error: "atra201_DBX failed to load" when opening Vehicle Tracking

Issue:

After Autodesk Vehicle Tracking is installed, it does not autoload within Civil 3D. When APPLOAD is used to load Vehicle Tracking, the following error appears:
atra210_DBX failed to load

Causes:

Corrupted install. Missing folders and files from:
  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Vehicle Tracking <version>
  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Vehicle Tracking

Solution:

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Select Uninstall a program (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10) or Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP).

  3. Uninstall Autodesk Vehicle Tracking
  4. Reinstall Autodesk Vehicle Tracking
