Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D
If you experience issues using Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D when you have multiple drawings open, close Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D and then reopen it.
If a script doesn't run in Automatic mode when you have a single drawing open, you can disconnect a node in the graph and reconnect it. After reconnecting the node the script should run as expected.
The AutoCAD and Civil 3D nodes in Autodesk Dynamo for Civil 3D are not localised and are in English for all versions of the application.
When you run a script in a drawing and then save the script, binding data is added to the .dyn file that is applicable only to that drawing. If you run that script on another drawing you may have unexpected results.

Because of this, a separate .dyn file that doesn't contain existing binding data should be used for each additional drawing in which you want to run the script.

You can use the following steps to remove the binding data from an existing script and then you can make copies of it to use in other drawings.
  1. Before removing the binding data from an existing script, make a copy of the .dyn file.
  2. Open the copy of the .dyn file in a text editor.
  3. Remove the content that exists between the brackets in the "Bindings" section so it appears as follows: "Bindings": [],
  4. Save the file.
You can then use this edited .dyn file as a template and make a copy of it for each drawing in which you want to run the script.

When you publish packages, it's recommended that you add Civil 3D to the Description field and civil3d (with no space) to the Keywords field in the Publish a Dynamo Package dialog box. These additions will make it easier to search for and identify packages on the Package Manager website that are targeted for Dynamo for Civil 3D.
