What

Manage and estimate area of land expropriation for transportation design.

Who

GIS specialists, surveyors, and all AEC specialists involved in infrastructure projects.

How

  1. Develop with Autodesk Civil 3D part of infrastructure;

  1. Extract the boundary from Corridor ( or inherits it );

  1. Open a Cadastre file and past in the original coordinates of the previous boundary;

  1. Define Object Data for capture information about number of parcel;

  1. Run Mapexport to define GIS data for Cadastre and Boundary.

  1. Open an FDO connection to ADD data in the map;

  1. Create an intersect overlay feature.

  1. Calculate the expropriation area;

  1. Export ASCII data.
