"Desktop Connector is not running" displays when accessing ACC local folder when Desktop Connector is shut down

Issue:

Accessing the Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC) local folder C:\Users\<username>\ACCDocs\<account name> when Desktop Connector is shut down shows this message and the folder cannot be opened:

The Desktop Connector is not running. Start Desktop Connector to regain access to Autodesk Docs.
