Document Log

Generate a log of all documents from a given folder or subfolder and send it by email as an Excel spreadsheet.

The document log includes the relative path to the folder and folder name, exported documents, version information, details of the last update and upload operations, set name, custom attribute, and document description.

Note: The document log availability depends on your folder permissions. You need to have Edit or higher permissions to have the functionality enabled in your project. For more details, see Folder Permissions.

Export a Document Log

Generate a document log containing documents from a given folder and send the exported file via email.

  1. Select a folder or subfolder for which you want to export a log.

  2. In the top right, click Document log.

  3. In the dialog box that opens, choose between exporting the log for:

    • This folder only.
    • This folder and all subfolders.
  4. Click Export.

You will receive an email containing an .xlsx file.

Note: You won't receive an email if the selected folder is empty.
