To Install BIM 360 Add-Ins

You can install add-in apps for Autodesk Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Use these add-ins to connect to the BIM 360 Glue cloud and access your consolidated project models. After you install the add-in, you can directly share (glue) the latest project models to your BIM 360 project from the source application. With the add-ins you can take advantage of the PinPoint feature in Revit, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D (not available in Navisworks). When you glue a model to BIM 360 Glue, Pinpoint can isolate clashing elements. To coordinate Revit models with models in BIM 360 Glue, use the Revit add-in and use the Glue It feature to add Revit models to Glue.
Note: The BIM 360 add-ins are compatible with Navisworks Manage 2017 and earlier. For information about integrating BIM 360 and Navisworks, see About Navisworks Manage for BIM 360.
  1. Click Profile menu Downloads to launch the Autodesk BIM 360 Add-in apps download page.
  2. Click the appropriate add-in app for your authoring software, and click Save.
  3. Open the folder where you saved the add-in and unzip it.
  4. Open the unzipped folder, click Setup.exe, and follow the on-screen instructions.

After you download the add-in, it's available in the application ribbon under the BIM 360 tab.

Note: If you installed a 2015 to 2017 product, the BIM 360 Glue Add-In is installed by default. If you unchecked the BIM 360 Glue Add-In option during installation and want to restore it, please reinstall your product, ensuring the BIM 360 Glue Add-In remains selected.
Tip: Install the BIM 360 Add-in for AutoCAD if using an AutoCAD vertical product after version 2017.
