Use the tools from the markup toolbar to create and style markups and annotations.
Freehand. Select the tool, then click and drag to draw freehand lines and curves as if you were outlining them on paper with a pen or pencil.
Highlight. Select Freehand Highlight, then click and drag to draw freehand highlighted lines and curves.
Text: Select the tool, click in the document, type your text, and press Enter.
Callout: Select the tool and click in the document. The Callout markup tool generates a red text box attached to an arrow that points to the area you want to call out. You can format the text box, as well as the text box fill color. Click Save Markup.
Callout Cloud: Select the tool and click in the document. The Cloud Callout markup tool functions the same way as the Cloud markup tool, except that the text box is in the shape of a cloud.
Cloud: Select the tool, then click and drag to draw, or click two points to place the top left and bottom right corners.
Polycloud: Select Cloud Polycloud, then click to place the first point, and continue clicking to draw cloud segments. Double-click to close the shape.
Shapes: Select to display shape tools.
Rectangle: Select Shapes Rectangle, then click and drag to draw, or click two points to place the top left and bottom right corners.
Oval: Select Shapes Oval, then click and drag to draw, or click to specify the top right corner, and drag to draw. Drag diagonally a circle or right/left/up/down for an ellipse.
Polyline: Select Shapes Polyline, then click to place first point, and continue clicking to draw line segments. Double-click to close the shape.
Line: Select Shapes Line, then click the start and end points. As an alternative, click and drag to draw.
Arrow: Select the tool, then click the start and end points. As an alternative, click and drag to draw.
Dimensions: Select the tool, then click the start and end points to measure. You can mark multiple measurements. As an alternative, click and drag to draw the dimension.
Line style: Select the tool, then choose the desired line color and adjust line thickness as needed.
Fill style: Select the tool, then choose the desired fill color and adjust the opacity as needed.
