The online map functionality is going through some changes on the Microsoft Bing side* that require Autodesk users and admins to take action.
First, you will need to install the geolocation hotfix.
Second, due to the changes on the Microsoft side, additional websites may need to be whitelisted on your Proxy server by your network administrator (as of this writing, June, 30, 2017, the official Proxy server list has not been updated to include these sites):
- *dev.virtualearth.net
- ak.dynamic.tx.tiles.virtualearth.net where x=0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7
- tx.ssl.ak.dynamic.tiles.virtualearth.net where x=0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7
- spatial.virtualearth.net
- *bing.com
Lastly, you will need to reset your login to A360.
1) Close all your Autodesk applications, including AutoCAD, Autodesk Application Manager, and A360 desktop.
2) Browse to C:\Users\<<your_Login>>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\
3) Delete the following folders:
- C:\Users\<<User>>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\A360
- C:\Users\<<User>>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services
Go into
- C:\Users\<<User>>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Sync and delete everything except the Log folder.
If you receive a message saying that the files are in use, click Skip.
3) Restart AutoCAD
4) Try the online map feature again. You will be prompted to log in again.
Online maps should now work for AutoCAD 2015 - AutoCAD 2018.
For AutoCAD 2014, read this.
