Use actual dimension values with RECTANGLE command in AutoCAD

Issue:

When using the RECTANGLE command, absolute or relative coordinate values are used to define the size of the rectangle. Actual dimension values are preferred to create the length and width of the rectangle.

Solution:

Do the following:

Specify the dimension by length and width in the RECTANGLE command (see To Draw a Rectangle | AutoCAD).

Note: When prompted to "Specify other corner point or [Dimensions]:" the direction can be defined by dragging your crosshairs around the first corner point.

Specify the dimension values using Dynamic input (see How to enable or disable dynamic input in AutoCAD).
