Dimension (DIM) command does not show dimension preview when using an Annotative dimension style in AutoCAD 2020

When creating a new dimension using the DIM (Dimension) command, no dimension preview is shown if an Annotative dimension style is selected.

To resolve the issue, try the following:

Install the latest AutoCAD update (see Install Updates, Add-ons, and Enhancements).
Choose a dimension type from the Dimension drop-down list:

Type DIMSTYLE in command line and press enter to access the Dimension style dialog box.
