Issue:

When trying to create a sheet set from existing drawings in the Sheet Set Manager, or in Project Navigator, some drawings do not appear in the list.

Causes:

  • A layout can only be attached to one sheet set at a time.
  • The new Project created based on an old Project in Project Navigator was not created properly by either Template or by Structure.

Solution:

Steps to attempt to fix the issue:

  • To find if a sheet set is being used by another project:
  1. To determine if a drawing is already attached to a sheet set, open the DWG file and on the command line type SSFOUND.
  2. If the drawing is not attached to a sheet set, the SSFOUND command will return the value "".
  3.  Go to the displayed project and detach the drawing from the previous sheet set so it can be attached to the new sheet set.
