Issue:

How to turn off the border around an image in AutoCAD.

Solution:

Set the IMAGEFRAME system variable to a value other than 1.
  1. Type IMAGEFRAME on the command line and hit Enter.
  2.  Enter 0 (if the border should be completely removed) or 2 (if the border should be displayed, but not printed). 
Notes:
  • If changing the system variable doesn't work, set the variable to 1 and then 0 again.
  • This should be completed in model space.
  • Image may pasted from Windows Clipboard, for those OLE image, set the OLEFRAME to 0.
