Issue:

How to install Autodesk products using command line.

Solution:

The first step required to install using command line is to create a standard "out-of-the-box" Autodesk deployment. Review the links below

After successfully creating an Autodesk deployment tailored SCCM scripts can be found at this path:

{deployment name}\SMS_SCCM scripts\

These have been tailored by the deployment to tap into the installation files in their current network location.

These SCCM scripts can be used (slight alteration) to install the product using command line. Even though these scripts will give you the paths to the MSIs and EXEs used in the installation, it is highly suggest NOT to deviate from the scripts as created from the deployment. Installing directly from the MSI and/or EXE files from the installation files as opposed to the unaltered scripts created by the deployment, will cause the installation to fail. This is mainly due to the fact that licensing and configuration information is stored in MST and other configuration files that are referenced in the scripts at the time of the deployment's creation.

Opening the SCCM script to install - AutoCAD2019_64_SCCM.txt for example - will give more information on how to convert the script to line commands.

NOTE: Autodesk supports "out-of-the-box" Autodesk deployments and limited support for SCCM installations. Providing installation logs and/or screenshots of any errors may give clues that may help Autodesk support to make suggestions. However, support would not be able to provide advice or assistance on how to configure SCCM or other 3rd party application management softwares to deploy the products.
