To Move the UCS Origin Using the Origin Grip

Click the UCS icon.
Click and drag the square origin grip to its new location.
The UCS origin (0,0,0) is redefined at the point that you specified.

Tip: To place the origin with precision, use object snaps or grid snaps, or enter specific X,Y,Z coordinates.
