About Importing and Exporting WMF Files

WMF (Windows metafile format) is a graphics format originally used for clip art by Microsoft Office applications.

You can insert WMF files into drawings as blocks using the IMPORT and WMFIN commands. Although WMF files can contain both vector and raster data, these commands import only the vector data and text. When you import, you can specify import options such as the option to import objects in the WMF file with or without solid-fills. If necessary, you can specify these options before you import using the WMFOPTS command.

You can also export selected objects as WMF files using the EXPORT and WMFOUT commands. These commands create WMF files that contain vector data and TrueType fonts.
