To Import Coordinate System Dictionary Definitions from XML

You can add and update your user coordinate system library by importing an XML file which contains coordinate system definitions. The XML file can be from a coordinate system library export.

  1. At the command prompt, type MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT.
  2. Select the XML file.
  3. Choose Yes to import all definitions in the XML file, or No to import definitions by code.
  4. If you choose to import by code, enter the code(s).

    Use the question mark to list all the codes available in the XML file.

  5. Select a type.
  6. Continue entering codes and selecting types as needed.
  7. Press Enter to end the command.
Note: There are some possible conflicts:

The function is designed for users who have a good understanding of Map 3D coordinate system library. This is a command line user interface only.

The new imported definitions can be used after you restarting Map 3D.
