To Assign a Coordinate System to the Current Drawing

You must specify a coordinate system for the current drawing to take advantage of coordinate transformation capabilities.

To assign a coordinate system to the current drawing

1. Do one of the following:
   • On the status bar, click the down arrow next to Coordinate System and click Library.

     The control displays your current coordinate system (if any).

     

   • Click Map Setup tabCoordinate System panelAssign. Find
2. In the Coordinate System Library, under Current Drawing, enter the coordinate system code for the current drawing in the search field.

   If you do not know the code, filter the display to find it. For example, set the Coordinate System Category filter to the appropriate country, province, or state. Click the coordinate system to use.

3. Click Assign.
