Adding Architectural blocks and symbols into AutoCAD for Mac products

Issue:

You want to know how to add Architectural blocks (doors or windows) and symbols into AutoCAD for Mac products

Causes:

AutoCAD Architecture and other AutoCAD verticals not available on the Mac. 
 

Solution:

To achieve this:

  1. Download Architectural Blocks. This Autodesk Forum Link where to download blocks for my content palette may help to find suitable blogs to download Blocks.
  2. Use CONTENT (Command) in AutoCAD for Mac products 2019 or older or Blocks (CONTENT) in the 2020 release. 
  3. Store blocks in the library.

Note:
To add blocks from an existing drawing do this as follows:

  1. Click the 'Manage Libraries' next to Libraries drop-down on Content palette.
  2. In "Manage Content Libraries" DLG
  3. Click the + in the left side first to new a library.
  4. Then click the + button on the right side.
  5. Select the file to add.
