AutoCAD for Mac 2020 Updates

These release notes contain important information regarding the changes and improvements of the Update.

Apply Updates

To download the updates, choose one of the methods below:

Recommended: Launch AutoCAD, click menu AutoCAD 2020 > Check for Updates. A notification banner will pop up with the latest update that is applicable to the current version. If the current version is the latest version, the banner will show "Your product is up-to-date!".
Login to Autodesk Account Portal to find the download of the update.
Go to Autodesk Downloads Finder page to find the download of the update.

2020.3 update (includes 2020.2.1) - add support for macOS 12 Monterey

Install this Update

Quit all Autodesk products.
Double click the downloaded dmg installer to mount the disk.
In the mounted disk, double click the pkg file to start the installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

After applying an update, the Product Version in the About AutoCAD box will be updated, such as AutoCAD 2020.1.

Uninstall Updates

You can only uninstall the whole AutoCAD, and cannot just uninstall the updates on Mac.

To uninstall the whole AutoCAD: Open a Finder window, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2020 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2020 app.
