Install the Extension

Learn how to correctly install the Dynamo Extension for Advance Steel.

Before installing the Dynamo Extension for Advance Steel, confirm that:

• You have administrative permissions to install the software.
• You have Advance Steel installed on your computer.

1. Use the Update button from the Desktop App or from your online Autodesk account.
2. The Setup Wizard window appears. Click Next to start the installation.
3. In the License Agreement frame, accept the agreement after reading it and click Next to move on.
4. Carefully read what is listed in the Information frame and click Next to move on.
5. In the Ready to Install frame, click the Install button to begin the installation process.
6. Wait a few moments for the installation process to finish. A status bar will be displayed showing the overall installation progress.
7. When the installation process is complete, the last frame appears. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
