Physical Material Aligned with Autodesk Standard Surface

A new mode has been introduced to the Physical Material called Autodesk Standard Surface Compliant.

The new Physical Material mode called Autodesk Standard Surface Compliant enables the Physical Material found in 3ds Max to be 100 percent compliant with the Autodesk Standard Surface in Maya. To support this change, FBX now fully supports the Physical Material, so materials can be sent between 3ds Max and Maya without losing any data.

When Autodesk Standard Surface Complaint is active through the Material Mode drop-down menu, two new properties will be found in the Physical Material user interface: Sheen and Thin Film.

These properties will render with any renderer that supports the Physical Material.
