USD for 3ds Max 0.2: USD for Autodesk 3ds Max is available for download from your Autodesk account. To learn more about this release, see USD for 3ds Max 0.2 Release Notes. Unwrap UVW Modifier: The Unwrap UVW modifier now opens and operates faster.

UV Editor Window: The UV Editor window size is now adaptive to the user's screen resolution, and features a higher resolution black and white checker map.

Symmetry Modifier: The Symmetry modifier's welding algorithms have been updated to provide even more predictable results by finding matching pair of vertices on the mirrored surface. The tolerance threshold now enables welding to solve across open gaps along the symmetry line.

Security Settings Management: 3ds Max now supports management of security settings by IT administrators. This allows for all installations to use the same security settings, which helps define team or studio-wide software security policies.

Python Logging: To improve user and administrators' ability to monitor application security, Python scripts and imports are now written to the 3ds Max System Log.
