Controlling a Texture with Unwrap UVW

A single bitmap can contain multiple textures for various parts of an object. You use the Unwrap UVW modifier to control the placement of the textures.

In this tutorial, you use a version of the P-47 aircraft model you created in Modeling an Airplane, and use Unwrap UVW to project a camouflage texture onto its wings, fuselage, tail, and other parts.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

  • Apply the Unwrap UVW modifier
