Notice to Autodesk Inventor Customers: Cumulative Hotfix 1 for Inventor 2017 Released

In our continuing efforts to provide high quality products, Autodesk has released Cumulative Hotfix 1 for Inventor 2017 which addresses multiple issues (see Description below).

This document contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this hotfix. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

For application of this hotfix, your system must have Inventor from one of the following products installed:

This hotfix is available in 64bit version and is only applicable to Autodesk Inventor 2017. Once installed, it will appear as an Update under Add/Remove Programs and can be uninstalled from there.

  1. Update your operating system before you install this Autodesk Inventor 2017 hotfix. Reboot your system after the Updates are installed.
  2. Download the hotfix.
  3. Double click the .exe file downloaded in step 2 to install this hotfix on each system running Autodesk Inventor 2017.
  4. Choose Next to begin the install...
  5. Once finished you'll receive the Autodesk Inventor 2017 Setup dialog box stating that the hotfix has been successfully applied.
  6. Click Finish to complete the installation and exit the dialog box.
