Thank you for installing AutoCAD^®/AutoCAD LT for Mac^® 2021.1.1 Hotfix

The 2021.1.1 hotfix fixes compatibility issues that customers reported for AutoCAD on macOS Big Sur. This hotfix can be installed on the AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2021/2021.0.1/2021.1 versions. Please read the entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

• On macOS Big Sur, AutoCAD crashes at launch or randomly during work on some Intel graphics cards.
• On macOS Big Sur, texts lost bold/italic style in printed PDF.
• On macOS Big Sur, it shows read-only alert when double click to open drawings on a remote folder.
• On macOS Big Sur, the launch mode does not work with LISP debugger on VSCode.
• On macOS Big Sur, the "Never" button does not work on the notification banner.

The 2021.1.1 Hotfix can be installed over the official AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT) for Mac 2021/2021.0.1/2021.1.

To install AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT) for Mac 2021.1.1 Hotfix, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2021.1.1_Hotfix_Combo.dmg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2021.1.1_Hotfix_Combo.dmg) to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2021.1.1_Hotfix_Combo.pkg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2021.1.1_Hotfix_Combo.pkg) in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
5. The version can be checked in menu AutoCAD 2021(AutoCAD LT 2021) > select About AutoCAD(AutoCAD LT), you should see "AutoCAD 2021.1.1"("AutoCAD LT 2021.1.1") label.

1. Quit AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2021 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2021 app. For LT, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD LT 2021 and double-click Remove AutoCAD LT 2021 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process.
