Thank you for downloading AutoCAD^®/AutoCAD LT for Mac^® 2017.3 Update

The 2017.3 Update fixed compatibility issues with macOS Mojave. It also improves overall stability of the product. This update can be installed on all AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2017 official releases and is recommended for all users. Please read the entire document before you apply the update to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

The 2017.2 update is included in this 2017.3 update.

Compatibility issues on Mojave

• Installation failure.
• Cannot edit text input field on visor.
• Some labels on the UI shows dark in dark theme.
• Plot style editor and AutoCAD asks for permission to access Calendar and Contacts.
• AutoCAD asks for permission to accessibility features when using Materials.
• Crash when close the Appload dialog.
• Alert about DockIconInstaller shows at the first launch of AutoCAD.

Stability Improvement

• Minimized Drawing window restored back will become unresponsive.

The 2017.3 Update can be installed on all official releases of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2017 for Mac.

To install 2017.3 Update, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the update.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2017.3_Update.dmg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2017.3_Update.dmg) to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_Mac_2017.3_Update.pkg(AutoCAD_LT_Mac_2017.3_Update.pkg) in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

This update replaces files from the original installation of the product and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall this update, do the following:

1. Quit AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2017 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2017 app. For LT, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD LT 2017 and double-click Remove AutoCAD LT 2017 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reinstall the product from the original product media or download.
