The 2016.4.1 Hotfix fixes a critical issue on the new Macbook Pro with touchbar and also improves overall stability of AutoCAD 2016. This hotfix is recommended for all users. The 2016.4.1 hotfix requires the Update 4 installed in advance. Please read the entire document before you apply the hotfix to your product. For reference, please save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

The 2016.4.1 Hotfix should be patched on AutoCAD 2016 for Mac Update 4.

To install AutoCAD for Mac 2016.4.1 Hotfix, do the following:

1. Close all Autodesk applications before you begin to install the hotfix.
2. Double-click AutoCAD_2016.4.1_Hotfix_Delta.dmg to mount the volume.
3. Double-click AutoCAD_2016.4.1_Hotfix_Delta.pkg in the new mounted volume to run the installer.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Launch AutoCAD for Mac after the installation has completed.
6. Click menu AutoCAD 2016, select About AutoCAD, the Product Version should be "M.48.M.654". And you should also see "2016.4.1 Hotfix" below it.

This hotfix replaces files from the original installation of AutoCAD for Mac and cannot be uninstalled separately.

To uninstall this hotfix, do the following:

1. Close AutoCAD for Mac.
2. In Finder, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2016 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2016 app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reinstall AutoCAD for Mac from the original product media or download.
